How does the web app look and feel to use?

Using Trackle is very easy, however the interface is much more cluttered than many people will be used to. It can be overwhelming at first however you do get used to it. When you first log in you will see a list of popular things to track, these can be added to your Trackle list by clicking the add button. You can also see a full list of all Trackles, or select them by browsing through various categories.

How does the registration process work?

Registering for a Trackle account doesn’t take long, and you only need to enter two pieces of information. However entering the additional information such as your name and zip code is supposed to be useful for a number of location specific trackers. You also have the option of setting the site to remember you or not when you visit next time. If you’re not from the US then you will have a hard time entering a Zip code because it only accepts 5 or 9 digits. In this case just leave it blank. Trackle then sends you an email to confirm your account; you must click the link inside the email to activate your account. Once you click the link you have to wait a couple of seconds before you actually see your account page.

What does it cost to use the application?

According to the terms and conditions the beta stage version of Trackle is free; however whether future versions will remain to be free or not is unknown. There are no adverts on the site; however you may be charged a fee by your phone network when receiving SMS messages from the site.
